Our Providers

Dr Sonia Mathew, MD, FAAP, is board-certified in Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She trained as a physician in India before moving to the USA with her family. The beautiful beaches of Coastal Bend remind her of her hometown in India. Dr Mathew completed her pediatric residency at Driscoll Children’s Hospital, where she was also a chief resident. She has worked for many years as a pediatrician and hospitalist before joining ABC Pediatrics. Dr Mathew has an interest in educating physicians and promoting community health. She is the CME director for Driscoll Health System and the 2022 President of Nueces County Medical Society.

Dr. Mathew is accepting new patients at the Alameda office.
