Our Providers

Dr. Lynae Canales, MD, FAAP, is a board-certified pediatrician and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics who has been caring for children at ABC Pediatrics since 2002. She believes that every child deserves compassionate, evidence-based care and that parents deserve a pediatrician who listens, partners with them, and is there through every stage of childhood.

Originally from Connecticut, Dr. Canales earned her bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Dartmouth College before receiving her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency at Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, where she developed the strong clinical foundation she continues to build on today.

For more than two decades, Dr. Canales has enjoyed caring for generations of families, helping children grow from newborns into healthy, confident young adults. She is passionate about building lasting relationships with her patients and creating a welcoming environment where families feel heard, supported, and confident in their child’s care.

Outside the office, Dr. Canales enjoys golfing, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her husband and their three grown sons.
