Our Providers

Dr. Lily Polasek grew up in Sinton and was a patient at ABC Pediatrics as a child. She graduated as valedictorian of Sinton High School before attending Texas A&M University, where she earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Management. She went on to attend the Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio and chose to come home for her pediatric residency at Driscoll Children’s Hospital, giving her the opportunity to train close to her family while preparing to care for the children and families of the Coastal Bend.

Becoming a mother has deeply shaped the way Dr. Polasek approaches pediatrics. Married to her college sweetheart, she is raising a young family of her own. Her experience as a mother has given her a firsthand understanding of both the joys and challenges of parenthood and the importance of having a trusted village. She hopes to be part of that village for the families she cares for, providing a trusted place to turn with questions, concerns, and all the unexpected moments that come with raising children.

Dr. Polasek is passionate about primary care and preventive medicine. She believes children should have plenty of opportunities to read, play outside, be creative, spend time with their families, and experience the world beyond a screen. She enjoys partnering with parents on nutrition, sleep, physical activity, and the everyday decisions that help children thrive. She has a particular interest in breastfeeding and enjoys helping mothers navigate the practical challenges that can arise along the way. Her pediatric residency training has also given her confidence in caring for children with more complex medical needs.

Outside of the office, Dr. Polasek loves being at home in the country with her family. She enjoys spending time outdoors, cooking and baking, reading, and working on creative projects like sewing and crocheting. She is grateful for the opportunity to care for the children and families of the community that has always been home.
